Human Development - Mental
One of the first commitments my wife and I made to each other when we got engaged was a continued personal growth journey for the life of our relationship. We have been married for approx 18 months and to date we have honored that commitment.
Human development is important because it helps to facilitate personal growth.
Pam and I have done many courses, have consulted many people on the subject but no single person has had a greater impact on our journey than Dr John Demartini. His principle teachings and philosophy rings true to us.
When you develop self, you need to ensure that you are actually ready for growth. What I mean is that if you have any issues, emotional baggage that may be holding you down, it may be a weight that you will need to let go of in order to grow.
I believe each and every one of us has emotional baggage/scars that affect decisions that we make in life. I have yet to meet a person that can actually say that they do not. We are very sensitive creatures that bruise easily but at the same time are very resilient and capable of great strength.
A technique that has greatly assisted us is the Demartini Method (The Collapse Process). This method takes you through steps that enable you to see that for every perceived negative that happened in your life there has been a corresponding positive that we were not aware of. This technique allows you to appreciate your experience so that it no longer has a negative charge in your life.
The method takes you through a series of questions designed to help you to see both sides of the coin, good and bad, so that you feel grateful for the experience and have nothing but love for the person that is associated with the feeling/charge. This basically sets you free from the charge.
Pam and I continue to collapse charges on a regular basis. Some are done simply whilst others are more involved.
To master the use of your mind you will need the development of mental congruence. Incongruent thoughts concerning the past and future, outside (other) and inside (self) will need to become integrated. The Demartini Method was designed for this purpose.

Thanks for the reminder Mark. I went through the Breakthrough weekend with John the year before last and it’s amazing reading through this post the memories that came flooding back! It’s certainly a very good process to apply and I think I need to go over my notes now to refresh as it’s been a while since I have used it.

Great post guys. Gives me an excellent excuse to play the Demartini audio CD that has been sitting on my desk for the last couple of months.
